The Rosedale Neighbourhood

Rosedale \Neighbourhood, TorontoRosedale is one of Toronto's wealthiest neighbourhood and an enclave for some of the city's biggest mansions nestled on clean, quiet, tree-lined streets. For over one hundred years Rosedale has held the distinction of being the city's most fashionable address, and many of Toronto's wealthiest and most prominent citizens reside here.

Even though Rosedale is located in the middle of Toronto, virtually no vehicular traffic can be heard due to the abundance of trees and foliage that surround the community built among three parkland ravines.

Rosedale Location

Rosedale's boundaries are  Bloor Street to the south, Bayview Avenue to the east, the CP railway tracks to the north (near St. Clair), and Yonge Street to the west, with the neighbourhood divided into a north and south portion by the Park Drive Ravine.

Rosedale Homes

Built between 1860 and 1930, many of Rosedale's homes are Heritage Properties constructed in Victorian, Georgian, Tudor and Edwardian styles. The largest mansions are located in the eastern portion of Rosedale, overlooking the Don Valley.
