Thornhill Woods is one of many new suburban developments springing up north of the established Thornhill-Vaughan suburbs. One of the fastest growing communities in Canada, this neighbourhood has a large concentration of young families who have moved into their first or second homes. It also has one of the highest per capita incomes in the Greater Toronto Area with more than half of the families living there having a household income over $70,000.

The rapidly growing ThornHill Woods area is the neighbourhood immediately south of Richmond Hill bordered by Bathurst Street, Highway 7, Dufferin Road and Major McKenzie Drive.  The area has direct access to Highway 407, and Langstaff and Rutherford Go stations.
